Our founder, a bike mechanic with twenty years of daily shop experience, saw how generic tools fell short. Inspired by booking systems in other industries, he started building something better.

With direct input from customers and colleagues, a simple booking idea grew into a complete workshop management tool that eliminates paper job cards, reduces no-shows, evens out busy and slow days, and lets you focus on what matters most: fixing bikes and delighting customers.

Tested and refined through constant real-world use in the shop where it all began, Velodrop became publicly available in 2018. Today, our founder still works as both mechanic and developer, putting the software to work every shift to ensure it evolves with the actual needs of independent workshops.
